The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) AG is a joint venture company established with the purpose of planning, developing and building the TAP natural gas pipeline. TAP’s shareholding is comprised of BP (20%), SNAM (20%), SOCAR (20%), Fluxys (19%), Enagás (16%) and Axpo (5%).
For TAP’s Country Office in Greece we are looking to engage a CSR Advisor reporting to the Social Investment (SI) / CSR Manager – Greece. The main purpose of this role is to support the SI/CSR Manager in coordinating and monitoring the on-going delivery and implementation of TAP’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and SI plans in Greece.
The role will provide assurance on delivery in line with TAP’s CSR Policy, main principles and local commitments.
The incumbent will work closely with the Stakeholder Team (Stakeholder Manager and CLCs – Community Liaison Coordinators) to identify CSR/ SI issues and opportunities in regions across the pipeline route, evaluate relevant proposals and develop implementation plans. In parallel, the incumbent will work on the proposals to be solicited by the SI DB at our Head Quarters (HQs) in Baar, Switzerland or other related approval processes within TAP.

Main tasks and duties:
  • Support the implementation of programs to address community ‘issues’ and ensure alignment with TAP’s CSR strategy in collaboration with the CLCs.
  • Assist the CSR/ SI Manager in developing annual CSR/SI implementation plans.
  • Work closely with the CLCs to interface with local key stakeholders and potential partners ensuring successful delivery of the approved CSR/SI initiatives in impacted communities along the pipeline.
  • Oversee ongoing local (in regions across the pipeline route) CSR/ SI activities and other related community initiatives and closely liaise with Project management Consultants (PMC), Technical Service Providers (TSPs) and sub-contractors to ensure effective and timely implementation of the projects approved for execution.
  • Manage contract drafting related to the procurement of goods and services and work closely with the Procurement function of the Implementation Partners (IP’s).
  • Provide reports and visual/video material on SEI projects to be used by Communications in delivering SEI objectives.
  • Cross functional collaboration with other departments (including Legal & Compliance, HSSE, Communications, Finance and Procurement) during the pre-approval, approval and implementation stage of the CSR/SI initiatives.
  • Manage, monitor and follow up on the ground execution of the implementation plans by the implementing partners, identifying delivery gaps and proposing relevant mitigation actions.
  • Contribute to any monthly reporting required by the Country Office or/and our HQs in Baar, Switzerland.
  • Keep (physical and electronic) financial records of all the implemented projects for internal and external audit purposes.
  • Collaborate with the SEI function or/and other Baar functions when necessary and under the guidance of the SEI Manager.
  • Support the SEI Manager with any ad hoc requests.
 
Main requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Commerce, Communications, Marketing or Economics.
  • Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience in managing CSR related activities – preferably gained in the oil and gas industry and / or the construction of large infrastructure projects adhering to high international standards i.e. EBRD.
  • Knowledge of the socio-political environment of Northern Greece.
  • Demonstrated experience in:
  1. Community investment programmes.
  2. NGO relations.
  3. Stakeholder engagement and coordination of internal & external stakeholders.
  4. Managing and coordinating contracts, and other legally binding agreements.
  • Excellent project as well as stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong relationship building and analytical skills.
  • Deep understanding of principles and practices of community development and ability to apply these effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with rapidly changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in multicultural teams and manage interfaces with contractors.
  • Good interpersonal skills within a matrix organisation.
  • Hands-on mentality.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Excellent English as well as Greek language skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently and flexibility to work extended hours on short notice.
