Why this job exists

As a Junior Key Account Manager, you will use your communication skills to identify and address clients’ needs while representing our company in a positive way. Ultimately, you will contribute to building profitable, long-term relationships with our clients to reach our business objectives.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Gather information on assigned clients (e.g. company size, needs and pricing plans)
  • Contact clients to understand their requirements and work on a sales plan
  • Build and maintain strong, long lasting client relationships, through regular communication
  • Provide after-sales support to retain clients
  • Communicate product and pricing details clearly
  • Be up to date with market, customer and consumer trends and monitor  competition
  • Coordinate with the Account Management team to create customized sales plans for key clients
  • Promote new products/services to existing clinets
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Collaborate with sales, trade marketing and marketing teams to identify growth opportunities within own territory
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust

Skills and Experience

  • 1-2 years’ experience within Sales
  • University degree Business, Management or Finance
  • Post graduate degree will be an asset
  • Top tier MS Office skills are essential, with focus on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent English, written and verbal
  • First-rate presentation skills
