The role:

Delivery of a portfolio of R&D projects under one or several brands which include, development of new products by researching current trends in food industry, continuous improvement of current products by analyzing consumers’ information, development of new packaging concepts and flawless execution into the plant.

The candidate’s profile:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a food company, preferably in developing products and/or reformulating products
  • Bachelors Degree and/or MS in Food Science & Technology
  • Bilingual (Greek and English) is a must. Additional EU languages valuable
  • Hands-on experience in pilot plant and production environment – Working knowledge of standard test & measurement equipment and software.
  • Computer proficient, including use of standard MS Office applications and SAP
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Solid verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-discipline, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in multi-site and cross functional context
  • Understanding of food safety, quality, production processes, and packaging
  • Availability to travel
  • Ability to plan for contingencies and be flexible when a project direction changes
  • High degree of personal and professional ethics and integrity
