In the framework of our rapid growth we seek to employ for our offices in Athens or Thessaloniki:

Requirements:

  • Perform hands-on fixes at desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, implementing file backups, configuring systems and applications, network ,add or upgrade and configure disk drives, printers, and related equipment
  • Knowledge of computer, network and site security systems, procedures and techniques
  • Maintain and secure passwords, file system security and data integrity for desktop and network environment; regulate user access to sensitive files to protect against internal security breaches; Maintain all local software and hardware licensing to ensure conformance; Manage network security tools, e.g., firewall, anti-virus and intrusion detection systems
  • Deep knowledge of PC Operating Systems such as Windows (Server)/Linux/Unix; Perform shell scripting or other basic scripting tasks is a must.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, including switches, routers, LAN/WAN protocols; Cisco, D-Link, TP-Link configuration experience will be appreciated
  • Skill in install, configure, and maintenance of LAN/WAN hardware and software e.g data and file management and transfer techniques (FTP, SFTP, etc.), communication equipment (voice, data, video), Network printers etc.
  • Skill in communicating information and issues to non-technical personnel
  • Skill in organizing, gathering, analyzing and prioritizing tasks and information
  • Experience in supporting a complex LAN/WAN environment, including remote site administration of the networks in our premises in Athens, Thessaloniki and Istanbul
  • Microsoft Active Directories Domain, Forest and Group Policies
  • Server Virtualization experience
  • Ability to maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade Web/Mail-server hardware and software
  • Ability to prepare for  timely server backups and disaster recovery
  • Ability to install, configure and support office phones and PBX systems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science
  • 4-6 years hands on experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience and involvement in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) support
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows Server and Linux OS
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision and to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience creating, modifying, enforcing, and reviewing standard operating procedures
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to think creatively. Strong analytical skills
  • Must have excellent communications skills, follow-up skills and organizational skills
